Be sure to check the "Year-Round Programs and Other Camp Info" headings of each camp listing for specifics, or give any Dance Camp you're interested in a call to check on Winter & Winter Break dates, times and availability.
Many of our Dance Camps will be hosting Winter & Winter Break Reunions for their previous campers, and Winter & Winter Break Open Houses for interested new campers and families. Each camp is different, and some offer activities for the entire family.

CAMPER AGES: 14-17
TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. July 18-23, 2022
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: A nationally renowned leadership and choral music training program. 50 high school freshmen-juniors from across the nation will receive a full scholarship to attend and a $1,000 college scholarship to Kansas State University.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Musical Theater, Music/Band, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: All events take place on the Kansas State University campus.

CAMP FACILITIES: Students will live alongside and share multi-person suites with other students of the same gender. Men and women will live in separate sections of the building; trained counselors will be on-site 24 hours a day. Suites include clean linens, blankets, towels for each participant, along with private bathrooms and showers. Kansas State University features some of the finest dining facilities in the country. Students will be able to have meals tailored to any dietary restrictions and the Institute will cover all meals during their stay.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Summer Choral Institute is a nationally renowned leadership and choral music training program. All singers will live on the campus of Kansas State University for the duration of the Institute, study with our internationally renowned faculty in rehearsals and private lessons, attend leadership training activities including a high ropes challenge course, visit museums, and experience many other multi-disciplinary activities. The Institute culminates with a concert performance and recognition luncheon on the final day.
The leadership staff of SCI are among the top performers and educators in their respective fields including Emmy and Grammy award-winners, professors, educators, and professional musicians.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: All accepted students will receive a full scholarship covering all costs along with a $1,000 college scholarship to Kansas State University.

Some Top Kansas Dance Camps offer rigorous daily dance training and lots of intensive dance experience. Other great Kansas Camps offer dance as an elective or recreational activity with much less training and intensity.
